“The merger means that two appreciated suppliers pool their competence and resources. With similar values, a strong focus on the customer and a common vision of what is needed for further success, the companies are highly compatible. Treotham’s geographical location is also very positive as Rutab has a desire to strengthen its market presence in the Stockholm region. The product portfolios complement each other perfectly, with no conflicts of interest, which is ideal for marketing and sales. As anticipated, the merger has been received very positively by customers and suppliers and the market as a whole and we look forward to further developing the group in Scandinavia together with key personnel from Treotham.”, says Rutab’s majority shareholder and CEO, Paul Tapper.
”A better partner than Rutab is difficult to imagine as I look forward to a continuation in the development of the new company. Personally I would venture to say that rarely has there been a merger in our field where the two companies complement one another so well, both with regard to the customer and product base.”, says Treotham’s current part owner and Managing Director, Christian Lönnvik.
Both parties have agreed not to make public the purchase price.
